The test is administered in a stiff way following a particular protocol or format so as to maximize differences in results. Basically asking and questioning about the results is significant for the test provider. The Rorschach inkblot test is a way of psychological evaluation. This test is used by the psychologists to determine the emotional functioning and personality characteristics of the patients. After his answers the cards are given back to the patient by the psychologist to study again. The patient lists all the things that he sees on the inkblot. He lists what he sees in it and what figure makes it look that way. The inkblots can be rotated. While the patient examines the inkblot, the psychologist notes down every single thing done or said by the patient to determine the kind of disorder he is suffering from.
According to the scores, the examiner uses a variety of mathematical calculations and produces a summary of the test. The results of the test are calculated by using the empirical research method on personality traits that have been established to be linked with various types of responses. Both interpretation and calculation of the scores is done electronically.
